Salary: $2,000 – $3,000 USD/month + incentives

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM US Pacific Time (PT)

Position Overview:

Our Client is an established, 20-person sales and distribution company operating within the automotive car care industry. Serving as a trusted market provider, they manage high-volume distribution networks and e-commerce portals. They foster a collaborative, fast-paced environment and are currently expanding their technical operations team to support digital scaling, optimize web performance, and maintain a superior online presence for their global consumer base.

The Role

Our Client is seeking a self-motivated, detail-oriented Front-End Web Developer to support a lean, high-performing 2-person internal development team. The successful candidate will take immediate ownership of front-end development, website customization, and performance optimization across the company’s digital storefronts. This individual will translate design concepts into responsive, fast-loading e-commerce web pages, troubleshoot core technical bugs, and ensure the continuous security and uptime of critical digital properties.

Key Responsibilities

WordPress & E-commerce Development

• Develops, codes, and customizes bespoke WordPress themes, custom templates, and functional plugins from scratch.
• Build highly responsive, visual, and fast-loading landing pages utilizing Elementor, Gutenberg, or clean custom front-end code.
• Optimizes and maintains e-commerce features, payment gateways, and product matrices using WooCommerce.
• Collaborates cross-functionally with graphic designers and digital marketers to execute site updates, promotional banners, and new feature rollouts.

Site Maintenance, Optimization & Analytics

• Monitors and maintains overall web performance, security compliance, server updates, and general site uptime.
• Conducts regular cross-browser and cross-device testing to ensure seamless compatibility and bug-free user experiences.
• Audits and optimizes site architecture according to SEO best practices and technical Core Web Vitals (speed, responsiveness, visual stability).
• Deploys code updates reliably utilizing Git version control across staging and production environment workflows.
• Manages basic configurations, event tracking, and custom pixel installations within Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager.

Required Qualifications

• Experience & Portfolio: Proven professional experience as a Front-End Web Developer, displaying a strong portfolio of highly functional WordPress and WooCommerce websites.
• Technical Tech Stack: Complete mastery of front-end web development principles, popular WordPress page builders (Elementor/Gutenberg), CSS/HTML frameworks, and fundamental PHP/JavaScript for WordPress environments.
• Workflow Infrastructure: Strong familiarity with Git version control protocols, staging-to-production pipelines, and database management.
• Language Integration: Fluent English communicator with the ability to take instructions, process constructive feedback, and collaborate effectively with US-based leadership teams.
• Equipment Ownership: Ownership of a reliable, high-performance development computer setup and a stable, high-speed internet connection capable of managing heavy asset rendering and staging pushes.
