VIQU have partnered with a large healthcare organisation undergoing a major digital transformation programme. They are seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to join their Digital Services team on an 18-month fixed-term contract, supporting both critical operational services and large-scale infrastructure projects.

This role offers a genuine mix of BAU support and project delivery, with opportunities to contribute to infrastructure modernisation, data centre migration activities, technology refresh programmes, and the ongoing improvement of core enterprise platforms.

Key responsibilities:

• Support and maintain enterprise Windows Server infrastructure.
• Administer and optimise Hyper-V virtualisation environments.
• Manage backup and recovery solutions using Veeam.

• Support Microsoft 365 services and associated technologies.
• Deliver infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and lifecycle management activities.
• Assist with data centre consolidation and legacy platform decommissioning.
• Work alongside third-party suppliers and managed service providers.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure issues.
• Identify opportunities for automation and service improvement.
• Ensure infrastructure remains secure, resilient, and compliant.

• Strong Windows Server administration experience.
• Proven experience with Hyper-V environments.
• Knowledge of Veeam Backup & Replication.

• Background delivering infrastructure projects and upgrades.
