Job Description

A major Spanish logistics corporation is currently collaborating with Tech Pipeline to fix bottlenecks in their internal tracking and shipment management systems. As a Frontend Development Internship participant, you will help build and refine the interfaces that logistical operators use to manage thousands of data points every day. We focus on removing the friction that slows employees down, ensuring that the software stays out of the way of the work.

About the role
At Tech Pipeline, we deal with the messy middle of business operations. Often, this means the software interfaces that teams use are cluttered, prone to error, or disconnected from the ground truth of the data. In this role, you will help us build functional, responsive web interfaces that provide clear visibility into logistical workflows. This is a fully remote position where you will focus on building tools that solve specific problems: such as why a dispatcher cannot see a specific routing error or how a finance team reconciles shipping invoices. You will work closely with our technical team to ensure the frontend reflects the actual state of the backend systems.

What you will be doing
  • Developing and maintaining user interface components using React and modern CSS.
  • Connecting frontend dashboards to internal APIs to display live logistics data and shipment statuses.
  • Testing interfaces across different browsers to ensure consistent performance for the client team.
  • Reading browser logs and using developer tools to identify why specific data fields are failing to render.
  • Cleaning up existing codebases to improve readability and eliminate unnecessary complexity.
  • Building simple, clear forms that allow operations teams to update system rules without technical assistance.
  • Creating technical documentation that explains how the new interfaces function for the hand over process.

What we need from you
  • Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Some experience with a modern JavaScript framework, such as React, Vue, or Angular.
  • A logical approach to troubleshooting and an interest in finding the source of technical errors.
  • Clear written communication skills for explaining technical concepts to both peers and clients.
  • Reliability and the ability to manage your own tasks in a remote work setting.
  • Attention to detail when converting design mockups into functional code.
  • An interest in the practical side of software: how real people use tools to get things done.

Helpful background
  • Exposure to version control systems like Git.
  • Previous personal or academic projects involving web application development.
  • Familiarity with how APIs work and how to fetch data for the frontend.

What the role offers
  • A paid internship with a competitive rate for the current market.
  • The opportunity to work on high stakes projects for a major international logistics provider.
  • A fully remote working environment that respects your time and focus.
  • Direct mentorship from experienced developers who value practical solutions over abstract theory.
  • Experience in a company that prioritizes documentation and clear technical execution.
  • The chance to see your work used immediately by operational teams to solve real world problems.

Working at Tech Pipeline
Our culture is built on technical curiosity and a commitment to getting things right the first time. We avoid the typical corporate cycle of endless meetings and strategy decks: instead, we rely on clear written updates and high quality documentation. We believe that the best way to solve a problem is to look at the logs and trace the data to its source. Working here means focusing on the actual mechanics of how a business runs and ensuring that the systems we build are simple enough for the client to maintain long after we are gone. We value developers who are more interested in the logic of the system than in following the latest trends for their own sake.
