The role:

You will be responsible for managing and growing our organic social media to drive brand awareness and engagement through innovative content.


Your role will be to develop, lead and implement our organic social media strategy primarily across Instagram and TikTok (long-term, we’d love to explore additional platforms). You will also play a critical role in analysing insights and establishing processes. 


You will work directly with the Founders to elevate Moodi’s overall marketing. We are a small, dynamic team, so let's be clear: this role involves strategy and execution. We need someone who can roll up their sleeves and isn’t afraid to get their hands dirty - in fact, it excites them.


🤳 What you'll do:


Lead organic social media strategy:

  • Work with Founders to develop and execute a highly effective organic content strategy for social media tied to objectives such as brand awareness and engagement


Make amazing organic social media content:

  • Manage end-to-end delivery of posts, stories, captions and graphics by ideating, creating and scheduling content for each platform 
  • Feature in content and become a recognisable face representing Moodi across platforms (alongside other creators and Founders). You will need to excel in front of and behind the camera! 


Execute engaging social campaigns:

  • Lead the planning and execution of organic social media campaigns for marketing moments such as product launches


Monitor and measure success:

  • Analyse data from various platforms and adjust strategies to ensure continuous improvement


Stay up to date with trends: 

  • Keep on top of trends and best practices within social media, the world of consumer brands and the health/wellness space, while understanding our audience and what they want from Moodi


Establish processes:

  • Develop and refine processes for efficient content ideation, creation and analysis


🎯 What you won’t be doing:

We want you to focus on organic social media and content, ensuring you can get creative without an overwhelming to-do list. These tasks are not included in the scope of your role (but you will be kept in the loop on these): 

  • Responding to social media comments, messages or mentions
  • Doing community management or engaging with followers 
  • Building relationships with or managing influencers
  • Planning or coordinating email marketing campaigns
  • Planning, executing or managing the strategy or content creation for paid ads


🌟 What you’ll need:

  • Proven track record of creating, leading and implementing an organic content strategy aligned with marketing objectives
  • Experience owning the end-to-end process of organic content ideation, creation and performance analysis 
  • Deep understanding of all social media platforms and expertise in creating engaging organic content
  • Passionate about content, always thinking of creative and innovative ideas to test
  • Strong copywriting and communication skills, with a knack for storytelling
  • Experience in front of a camera 
  • Great copywriting, graphic design and video editing skills
  • High attention to detail and and a strong sense of professionalism 
  • Proven skills in analysing and tracking content performance and optimising based on analytics
  • Ability to learn new trends, tools and techniques, offering thought leadership on best practices
  • Understanding of our brand messaging, tone of voice and values to ensure content aligns 
  • Self-starter mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organisational skills and an appetite for creating and implementing structure and processes
  • Passion for uplifting women’s wellness
  • Legal right to work in New Zealand


📍 Location:

Day-to-day work is remote, but Auckland-based is preferred due to IRL events and activations. We're open to candidates outside Auckland who are willing to travel regularly.
