Job Description

Location: Remote 100% work from home

Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours a week

Shift: Night shift, to cover U.S. Eastern business hours (this is an overnight shift in the Philippines, roughly 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. local time)

Time zone: Must work U.S. Eastern Time business hours

Why this role exists

We have hundreds of candidates who have already shown interest in our jobs, more than we can currently call, plus dozens of open positions across several hospital clients, with new ones added regularly. We need someone to get on the phone and turn that interest into placements. You will not do any sourcing. The candidates are already there. Your job is to call, qualify, and move them through the hiring process. While we do high volume, we still give every candidate and client a high level of service, so this is as much about quality conversations as quantity.

What we do is not typical recruiting. For our candidates this is a major life decision, often the dream of working in the U.S., earning a green card, or one day becoming a citizen. They are trusting us with that dream, so they need someone who genuinely cares and whom they can rely on. Over time, the strongest recruiters here become trusted advisors and experts their candidates lean on. On the client side, you are working with busy people who care for the sick and hold their communities together, so we respect their time and give them careful, professional, white glove service. The job is a mix of speed, quality, and service, and we want someone who can excel at all three.

This is a high-output phone role on a small team that relies heavily on each other. You do not need deep hospital or immigration experience to start, we will teach you that side. But you do need to be a quick learner, because our field has many layers and you will need to become comfortable with all of them.

What you will do

  • Call candidates who have already expressed interest in our open jobs. No sourcing. The pipeline is already there and growing
  • Make a high volume of calls every day to reach, qualify, and move candidates forward.
  • Manage a large pipeline across several hospital clients and dozens of open jobs, and keep it organized and moving
  • Prioritize well, so those closest to being hired and the most urgent jobs get your attention first
  • Run English-language screening interviews and assess clinical background, legal visa and work status, and readiness
  • Sell candidates on the opportunity and help them see why a role, hospital, and pathway is a good fit for them
  • Prepare and coach candidates through client interviews so they show up ready and confident
  • Present qualified candidates to clients
  • Keep accurate candidate and job records in our CRM
  • Flag risks, delays, or weak candidates early

What we are looking for

  • Seasoned recruiter with over 8 years of international hospital recruiting experience
  • Someone with good job tenure and hasn't moved around a lot
  • Comfortable pounding the phone. Able to make 50 to 80 calls a day and keep your energy and warmth up across that volume
  • Organized, able to prioritize your day, and bring good critical thinking to where your time is best spent
  • Persuasive and service-minded. You win people over, you hold a high service bar even at high volume, and at the offer stage you give honest guidance rather than push to close
  • Strong instincts with people. Beyond the facts and the checklist, you read candidates well and trust your gut about who is serious and who will actually follow through
  • Takes the work seriously and gets the details right. These are life-changing decisions, and small errors carry real weight in immigration and hospital processes, so you stay careful, accurate, and professional, especially with clients
  • A quick, self-driven learner who owns their results. Our field is complex and multi-layered (U.S. immigration, nursing, healthcare settings, visa types, and our software tools), and you take the initiative to master it fast and run your own day
  • Takes direction well and brings ideas. We want someone engaged and thoughtful, not a passive order-taker, who can get behind a decision and follow leadership's lead once it is set
  • Fluent English, spoken and written.

Work setup

  • Reliable high-speed internet is required
  • A backup power source or generator is preferred if your area has occasional power outages, since this is a phone-heavy role and you need to stay reachable

Nice to have, not required

  • Familiarity with healthcare visa pathways (TN, H-1B, EB-3, EAD, TPS, Asylum)
  • Salesforce experience

Compensation

We offer a fair base, with high bonus potential. Your bonus is earned when a candidate not only accepts a job but also actually starts, so reading who will follow through is part of the work.

We give you the systems and support to do volume most recruiters cannot, and a strong recruiter here could do 100 or more placements a year. A high performer can earn well above their base. If you want a high guaranteed salary with limited upside, this is not the right fit.

About E-Health Jobs

E-Health Jobs is a healthcare recruitment firm that partners with U.S. hospitals to hire international nurses and allied health professionals. We have been doing this for almost 20 years and provide many opportunities for professional and personal growth. We fill hard-to-staff roles for the hospitals that care for their communities, and we help skilled professionals build a life in the U.S., often the most important decision of their lives. We compete on quality, compliance, and long-term retention rather than volume for its own sake, and we give both clients and candidates a high level of service.

We are a lean, remote-first company. Team members work independently, take ownership of outcomes, and communicate clearly in a fast-moving environment.
