Job Description
Location: Palo Alto, CA or New York, NY (Hybrid – Minimum 3 Days In-Office)
Compensation: $140,000 – $250,000 Base + Competitive Equity
Visa Sponsorship: Available (Including New H-1B Applications)
About the Role
We are seeking highly motivated Back End Engineers to join our Integrations team and help build the infrastructure that connects our platform to the broader mortgage ecosystem.
This role is ideal for engineers who enjoy owning complex technical problems, working directly with external systems, and building reliable integrations that power mission-critical financial workflows. You'll be responsible for designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining integrations with a wide range of third-party partners, including credit bureaus, title companies, insurance providers, and other key participants in the mortgage industry.
You will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, ship impactful features quickly, and gain deep expertise in one of the largest and most complex financial markets.
What You'll Do
Build & Maintain Critical Integrations

- Design, develop, and maintain integrations with external partners across the mortgage ecosystem.
- Work with a variety of integration methods, including:
- REST APIs
- SOAP APIs
- File-based integrations
- Event-driven workflows
- Ensure integrations are scalable, secure, and highly reliable.
Own the Full Integration Lifecycle
- Take projects from initial design through deployment, monitoring, and long-term maintenance.
- Troubleshoot production issues and maintain high system uptime.
- Improve observability, resilience, and performance of integration services.
- Create tools and processes that improve operational efficiency.

Collaborate Across Teams

Required Qualifications

- 1+ years of professional Software Engineering experience.
- Experience building and maintaining integrations with external third-party systems.
- Proven track record of owning projects from development through deployment and maintenance.
- Experience building SaaS, eCommerce, marketplace, or similar web-based products.
Education
- Bachelor's degree from MIT or the University of Waterloo.
