Job Title: QA - Automation Engineer

Location: 100% Remote

Duration: 12+ Months Contract with possible Extension

W2 Only

Experience:

• Write automation test scripts using an object-oriented Ruby Cucumber/Cypress framework for multiple applications like web based, web services and database.

• Contribute to extending the existing framework.
• Execute tests as needed throughout projects, analyze and report test results. Identify and track defects through their lifecycle.
• Utilize defect management and organization skills, provide progress and metrics on test execution and defects to project team.
• Provide leadership while contributing to team and company objectives.
• Follow team and company standards and contribute to refine and improve process and procedure, while defining and maintaining test data.
• Experience working in Jira and Confluence is a must

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain expert understanding of all of the components and functionality of the system and framework.
• Demonstrates foundational knowledge of credit card operations, banking, financial, loyalty rewards, and credit card regulatory while working with various areas of the business.
• Demonstrate ownership by driving the automated testing of projects and collaborate with stakeholders in understanding the testing needs and reporting on testing results.
• Knowledge in Cloud based APIs and Applications, Mainframe application testing using SOAP UI
