Our client is a full-service retention marketing agency for eCommerce brands. They drive sustainable growth through retention-focused marketing, combining strategy, execution, and continuous optimization across the customer lifecycle.


They design and execute high-performance lifecycle marketing systems that increase revenue, improve customer lifetime value, and strengthen long-term customer relationships.


Retention marketing is at the core of what they do. As they evolve into a multi-channel retention agency, they remain focused on staying at the forefront of strategy, execution, and innovation in lifecycle and omnichannel marketing.


The Role


We're looking for a Senior Lifecycle Marketing Manager who is equal parts strategist and orchestrator - someone who deeply understands what drives growth in DTC and ecommerce, can read the numbers to know which levers to pull, and knows how to direct team and AI agents and automation systems to execute at scale.


This role is built for where marketing is going, not just where it is today. Right now it's balanced between strategy and hands-on execution. Over time, as AI handles more of the execution, your time will shift increasingly toward planning, analysis, and strategic direction - reviewing and approving what AI produces rather than building everything yourself.


You'll own client relationships and outcomes, supported by a designer, email technician, and AI-assisted workflows. The direction, judgment, and accountability sit with you.


Key Responsibilities


What Youโ€™ll Own

  • End-to-end lifecycle strategy and execution across client accounts
  • Key performance metrics: revenue, LTV, AOV, conversion, engagement
  • Client relationships, communication, and strategic direction
  • Campaigns, automations (flows), segmentation, and testing strategies
  • Performance analysis and continuous optimization


Required Experience & Skills

  • 8+ years of marketing experience, with strong depth in lifecycle/marketing
  • Agency experience strongly preferred
  • Advanced experience with Klaviyo
  • Proven ability to own accounts and drive measurable business results
  • Experience developing and executing strategies for eCommerce brands
  • A strong track record in DTC, ecommerce, or retail you understand how these businesses grow
  • A marketer's instinct: you look at data and know which metrics matter, what's off, and what to do about it
  • Comfortable using and directing AI tools - you see them as an execution engine you orchestrate, not a novelty
  • A genuine ownership mindset: you hold yourself accountable to outcomes, not just outputs
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to keep complex projects moving without being micromanaged


Strong understanding of:

  • Customer lifecycle marketing
  • Segmentation and personalization
  • A/B testing and experimentation frameworks
  • Email and retention performance metrics
