Python AI Engineer

Job Summary

Deeeplabs is seeking a skilled Python AI Engineer to join our team, focusing on the design and development of AI-powered backend services. In this role, you will leverage Large Language Models (LLMs) to create innovative solutions that enhance customer experience and drive business value. You'll collaborate closely with our backend and frontend engineers to deliver seamless, production-ready applications while ensuring robust integration between AI services and user-facing features.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop AI-powered backend services utilizing Large Language Models (LLMs) to improve business processes through automation
• Communicate eloquently with backend and frontend team in developing web applications
• Optimize API performance to ensure fast and reliable communication between services
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of APIs, services, and AI implementation details
• Regularly evaluate and enhance existing AI implementations to improve accuracy and efficiency

Requirements:

• 3+ years of Python backend development with Flask, FastAPI, or Django
• Strong expertise in RESTful API design and implementation
• Proficiency in SQL/NoSQL databases (MongoDB, PostgreSQL) design and queries

• Experience integrating LLM APIs (e.g. OpenAI, Anthropic, Llama) and prompt engineering

Nice to Have:

• Cloud infrastructure experience (AWS, Azure)
• Track record of building scalable backend services
• Proficiency in full-stack development
• Experience with Agile development methodologies
• Understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
