Our client manufactures and trades connectors, electromechanical components, and metal products used in the automotive industry, television and audio technology, as well as specialized tools, technological equipment, semi-finished products, and other specialized items.
As a leader in automation and robotics in manufacturing, the company has its own R&D and Production Engineering departments, designing, developing, and assembling automated equipment and production lines used in high-volume manufacturing.

AUTOMATION ENGINEER
Role Overview
The Automation Engineer is responsible for the design, development, implementation, maintenance, and improvement of technological tooling, non-standard equipment, automated production systems, and process control solutions. The role requires strong technical expertise in industrial automation, equipment modernization, troubleshooting, and cooperation with production, maintenance, engineering, and external partners in order to ensure stable, efficient, and reliable production operations.
Key Responsibilities
• Design technological tooling and non-standard equipment used in the production process;
• Participate in the design and implementation of solutions for equipment modernization and for improving the organization of the work process;
• Lead activities related to the development of new, improvement of existing, and/or adaptation of external designs for non-standard technological equipment;
• Prepare proposals for the replacement or upgrade of equipment and facilities in order to increase the level of automation of production and technological processes;
• Ensure the required level of technical maintenance, adjustment, readjustment, servicing, and repair of technological equipment;
• Participate in the preparation of annual repair schedules for mechanical, technological, and lifting/transport equipment;
• Participate in the analysis of breakdowns, technical failures, and causes of downtime, and propose corrective and preventive actions;

• Maintain communication with specialized suppliers and service providers regarding spare parts, lubricants, technical materials, and new equipment;
• Maintain the software and hardware of the existing production process control systems in the main production workshops;
• Support continuous improvement activities aimed at increasing equipment reliability, process efficiency, and production automation.
Candidate Profile
• University degree in a technical field, preferably in Automation;
• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in industrial automation;
• Experience in the implementation and maintenance of instrumentation and automation systems;
• Knowledge of electrical engineering, electronics, and pneumatics;
• Experience working with computer-based and other automated systems for monitoring and controlling technological equipment;
• Experience with Root Cause Analysis, LEAN, and 5S;
• Working level of English, including the ability to work with technical documentation and professional correspondence;
• Very good computer literacy, including EPLAN, SAP, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint;
• Ability to read and work with technical drawings, equipment documentation, and process-related technical information;
• Analytical thinking, problem-solving orientation, and ability to work effectively with production, maintenance, and engineering teams.

• Experience with the specific characteristics of production and technological processes such as stamping, injection moulding, and connector assembly;

Working Schedule
The working hours for the position are from 08:00 to 17:00. The role is closely related to production processes, equipment, and technical support activities and therefore requires regular on-site presence.
