Hey everyone, we're currently working on a prototype of our next game here at Dream Harvest and need a Tech Artist to help put together our art Pipeline, which is similar to what the team at Za-Um did with Disco Elysium.
This pipeline would include hand-painted environments initially blocked out in 3D in Blender that support real-time lighting and bounce lighting from VFX, real-time weather effects, etc. These would then be combined with full 3D characters and Monsters.
The game is a turn-based survival horror similar to board games like Mansions of Madness.
The basic requirements are:
- Must be UK-based due to our source of funding (UK Games Fund)
- High proficiency with Unity
- High proficiency with Blender
- Understanding mixed rendering techniques and willingness to research how to push this further.
- Shader Coding and experience with Shader Graph & VFX Graph or similar systems
- Experience in building art pipelines
- Setting up and documenting workflows for artists
- Creating processes for optimising 3D and texture assets.
- Being the go-to person for all things graphics-related.
The role is fully remote, but some of us are based in Brighton, UK.
We're hoping to turn this role into a full-time/permanent position once we secure a publisher and have the full dev budget in place.
