Global Security Director

For our client, we are seeking a Global Security Director to join the team of a leader in the Business Services space. This role will lead technical work focused on secure, reliable systems and risk-aware execution. You will work across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions. The position offers the opportunity to influence architecture, execution quality, and the technology capabilities that enable long-term growth within a Business Services environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $200,000 – $220,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Lead and integrate cybersecurity capabilities across diverse businesses
• Collaborate closely with various technical teams in security architecture and operations
• Establish and mature security operating processes among teams
• Build multi-year roadmaps and lead risk reduction projects
• Develop working groups for security knowledge-sharing across companies
• Assess current capabilities and drive prioritized implementation plans
• Oversee performance of external vendors and ensure strong governance

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity within large international environments
• Proven track record of leading and developing security teams
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills across diverse stakeholders
• Experience with hybrid security delivery models involving managed service providers
• Extensive knowledge of NIST standards and risk prioritization
• Preferred security certifications (CISSP, CISM, GIAC)
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
