WHAT YOU’LL DO:
The Finance team provides reliable and timely management information that lays the foundation to drive business decisions at Optiver. The team consists of fourteen finance professionals who are responsible for accounting, controlling, and reporting. Although our team members have dedicated focus areas, we work together to achieve our goals, supporting each other on a daily basis.

Role Overview:
We are seeking a hands-on and data-driven finance professional with experience in improving and automating processes. In this role, you will gain insights into core financial processes, focusing on accounting and process improvements. You will be involved in building best practices and harmonizing processes while enhancing our financial operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accounting: Handle day-to-day accounting tasks including recording transactions, reconciliations, checks and month-end activities.
- Process Improvements: Assess operational accounting processes and design robust procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.
- Global Harmonization: Contribute to the global harmonization of finance processes to ensure consistency and efficiency across all regions.
- Dashboarding: Develop and maintain financial dashboards to provide insights and support data-driven decision-making processes.
WHO YOU ARE:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance or a related field.
- 2-5 years of experience in accounting, with a strong focus on process improvements.
- Experience with data tooling and automation. Proficiency in Alteryx, SuiteScript, Tableau Prep or Python is desirable.
- Proactive problem-solving skills and a structured approach to work.
- Team player with the ability to work in a structured manner and prioritize effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
