Senior Back End Developer

Clubtech Global is seeking a skilled, proactive Back End Developer based in or willing to relocate to Bali.

ABOUT THE ROLE

This role is part of a dedicated Product Development Team within Clubtech Global (CTG). This role will play a pivotal role in building and maintaining our next-generation booking and operational systems. Working across both internal products and client-facing platforms, you'll work with a modern, scalable tech stack including Laravel, Tailwind CSS, Bootstrap 5, and Filament CMS.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing APIs, CMS systems, user dashboards, and complex backend architectures for high-traffic environments. We foster a collaborative and fast-paced culture where innovation and creative problem-solving are celebrated.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop robust, scalable backend systems using PHP and the Laravel Framework.
• Build and maintain Laravel Filament CMS panels for internal operational tools.
• Implement responsive and consistent UI styling using Tailwind CSS and Bootstrap 5.

• Optimize databases, APIs, and server-side logic for maximum speed and scalability.
• Collaborate with front-end developers, UX/UI designers, and business teams to deliver integrated solutions.
• Conduct testing, debugging, and performance tuning to ensure secure, efficient codebases.
• Document technical processes, workflows, and system designs for internal teams.
• Support and maintain existing systems with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Stay updated with best practices and emerging trends in Laravel, PHP, and modern web technologies.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 3+ years of professional experience with PHP backend development.
• Strong proficiency in the Laravel Framework (minimum 2 years working in production environments).
• Experience building Filament CMS for admin dashboards and API management.
• Proficiency with Tailwind CSS and Bootstrap 5 for frontend styling within Laravel blade templates.
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and backend service architecture.
• Familiarity with database design and optimization (MySQL, PostgreSQL).

• Strong Git workflow management (feature branching, pull requests, version control).
• Ability to work in agile/scrum teams, manage timelines, and deliver against milestones.

BONUS POINTS:

• Experience integrating 3rd-party APIs (Stripe, Firebase, etc.).
• Familiarity with AWS (EC2, S3, RDS) for server management.
• Exposure to Vue.js or Alpine.js for frontend reactive components.
• Knowledge of security best practices (OWASP).
• Professional English proficiency, with the ability to conduct meetings, write technical documentation, and communicate clearly in both written and spoken English.
