Job Description
We are looking for 2 Senior DevOps Engineers to join our team and contribute to a large, enterprise-level project.
Type of cooperation: full-time, long-term.
Location: Europe/Ukraine. Fully remote. We are open for Ukrainians who have relocated to EU also.
- Collaborate closely with developers to prototype and design new infrastructure and platform features.
- Deploy, configure, and maintain AWS EKS clusters and cloud infrastructure.
- Deploy, install, configure, test, and maintain complex client software across multiple environments.
- Work closely with developers to modernize and migrate applications to AWS.
- Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions; migrate existing pipelines from Jenkins.
- Make key architectural and operational decisions to ensure system scalability, reliability, and availability.
- Install, configure, and maintain both in-house and industry-standard monitoring and observability systems.
- Design, deploy, and configure cloud-based servers and services; provision networks and storage; manage firewalls, WAF, VPNs, and monitoring tools.
- Administer Linux and AWS cloud infrastructure, including installation, configuration, hardening, and maintenance.
- Create technical documentation and provide hands-on troubleshooting and consulting support to internal teams and customers.
- 4+ years of professional experience as a DevOps Engineer.
- Strong experience with microservices architectures.
- Proven experience with migrations to AWS cloud.
- Experience designing and scaling secure, highly available infrastructures with no single points of failure.
- Strong hands-on experience with OS-level administration on Linux/UNIX systems (Debian, Ubuntu, CentOS, RHEL, etc.).
- Hands-on scripting experience with Bash, Python, or Go.
- Solid experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Terragrunt, Terraform Enterprise, and AWS CloudFormation.
- Hands-on experience with container orchestration platforms: Kubernetes (AWS EKS) and Red Hat OpenShift.
- Understanding of GitOps principles and hands-on experience with Argo CD.
- In-depth knowledge of TCP/IP networking and the OSI model.
- Experience with monitoring, logging, and observability tools such as Prometheus, Loki, Zabbix, Elasticsearch/OpenSearch, Grafana, Kibana, Datadog, and Sentry.
- Strong experience with AWS security services, including GuardDuty, Security Hub, Inspector, AWS Config, IAM, WAF, and security best practices.
- Experience working with major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Proven ability to design and improve monitoring, logging, and alerting frameworks for rapid detection and resolution of incidents.
- Experience working with web servers and reverse proxies such as Apache, Nginx, and HAProxy.
- Experience with message brokers and queues such as RabbitMQ.
- Experience deploying and operating a variety of application workloads in AWS.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as GitHub Actions and Jenkins.
- Experience with Redis.
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, including PostgreSQL, MySQL, MariaDB, and Elasticsearch/OpenSearch.
- Experience working with compliance and security frameworks such as GDPR, SOC 2, and data retention policies.
- Strong problem-solving skills, including debugging infrastructure and application issues using code and scripts.
- Ability to effectively read, analyze, and troubleshoot logs and error messages.
- English proficiency at B1 level or higher.
