Business Support Manager

Based in Malta

Place in the organization:

The Business Support Manager reports Head of Crew Resources and Planning however executing activities for Accountable Manager.

Responsibilities:

The Business Support Manager is responsible for managing calendar, agenda, documentation tasks and ensuring deadlines on behalf and for Accountable Manager, office management, operations support and coordination of crew training tasks.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing assistance primarily for the Managing Director/Accountable Manager/Deputy and/or nominated persons;
  • Managing and maintaining schedule, travel and related logistics for all employees;
  • Coordinate with Planning Team and Logistic team regarding execution of ground and simulator trainings of the air crew;
  • Administrating Flight Operations, Cabin Operations and Training department communication with crew and with other departments;
  • Day-to-day operations support in planning and training activities;
  • Actively monitor aircraft and crew transfer activities and support the nominated persons in execution of their tasks;
  • Preparation, executing and follow-up of any occurring business events;
  • Suggest more efficient ways to run the office and troubleshoot malfunctions;
  • Point of contact for facility, mailing, shipping, supplies, equipment, bills and errands;
  • Partner with HR to maintain office policies as necessary and responsible for IT inventory;
  • Coordinate with IT department on all office equipment;
  • Monitor and maintain office supplies inventory;
  • Tasks as assigned appropriately.

Minimum requirements:

  • University degree
  • Good computing knowledge (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Knowledge/experience of AIMS Crew and Ops system (plus)
  • Knowledge/experience of EASA AIR OPS Working Rules Limitations and Rest Requirements (plus)
