About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Frontend/SDK Developer Level 6 to join our dynamic team at Wisemonk. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in designing and maintaining high-quality TypeScript SDKs, developer-facing APIs, and reusable frontend systems that form the backbone of our AI evaluation platform. Your work will directly influence the experience of external developers and internal engineering teams, ensuring seamless integration, usability, and performance. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work across product frontend engineering and SDK/platform development, utilizing modern technologies such as React 19, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, and advanced frontend tooling. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong architectural mindset, a passion for building scalable solutions, and a commitment to code quality and maintainability.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field. A minimum of 6 years of professional software engineering experience is required, with a proven track record in building robust frontend applications and developer-facing SDKs. Expertise in TypeScript, JavaScript, React.js, HTML, and CSS is essential. Candidates should have experience developing public SDKs, open-source libraries, or APIs designed for external developers. Familiarity with package architecture, API design, and reusable frontend abstractions is crucial. Strong testing skills utilizing frameworks such as Jest or React Testing Library are expected. Additionally, proficiency with React Hooks, component-driven development, Tailwind CSS, and exposure to React Query, React Hook Form, and TanStack Router are highly desirable. Excellent problem-solving abilities, independent working skills, and a solid understanding of frontend optimization, accessibility, and responsive design principles are necessary for success in this role.

Responsibilities

Design and maintain TypeScript SDKs and developer-facing libraries that are reliable, scalable, and easy to use. Build reusable abstractions, APIs, and frontend utilities that external developers can seamlessly integrate into their workflows. Develop maintainable SDK interfaces with a focus on scalability and developer usability, ensuring future-proof architecture. Contribute to package architecture decisions, frontend platform consistency, and the creation of reusable component systems. Write comprehensive automated tests to guarantee SDK reliability and frontend quality. Continuously improve developer experience by enhancing tooling, package structures, and integration workflows.

Build and maintain responsive, accessible UI components using React 19 and TypeScript, ensuring a consistent and high-quality user interface. Implement user-centric designs with Tailwind CSS, translating design specifications into functional frontend components. Participate in frontend architectural planning to develop solutions that are maintainable, scalable, and performant. Apply independent problem-solving skills to resolve complex UI and integration challenges efficiently. Optimize application performance, accessibility, and responsiveness across various devices and browsers. Manage client-side routing, data fetching, and form logic utilizing TanStack Router, React Query, and React Hook Form. Collaborate closely with backend developers to ensure seamless integration with backend APIs. Participate in code reviews, promote best engineering practices, and uphold high standards of code quality and documentation.
