The platform supports complex cross-border ecommerce operations, including localized customer journeys, checkout flows, payment-related integrations, compliance-sensitive processes, logistics-related workflows, fulfillment, returns, and post-purchase customer experience.

The client’s engineering environment is modern, cloud-based, and highly distributed, with a strong focus on automation, reliability, scalability, secure delivery, and continuous platform modernization.

Position Summary

We are looking for a Senior DevOps / Cloud Engineer to support the evolution of the client’s cloud infrastructure, CI/CD automation, monitoring, deployment practices, and platform operations.

This role is especially suitable for an engineer with strong Azure experience, solid production mindset, and hands-on knowledge of infrastructure automation, Kubernetes, GitHub-based delivery workflows, and modern observability tooling.

You will work closely with engineering, platform, security, and operations teams to maintain and improve a complex ecommerce technology environment, contribute to ongoing migrations, and help ensure reliability, scalability, security, and delivery efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Support and improve cloud infrastructure and DevOps processes for a large-scale digital commerce platform.
• Contribute to migration from Azure DevOps to GitHub-based workflows.
• Support migration activities from GitLab to GitHub where required.
• Design, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines, release automation, and deployment workflows.
• Work with Azure services including Azure Kubernetes Service, Azure Web Apps, Azure Front Door, Azure Key Vault, Azure Managed Identities, and Azure SQL.

• Support Kubernetes-based workloads using Helm, YAML manifests, and related deployment tooling.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform and Bicep.
• Automate operational tasks using PowerShell, Bash, and scripting best practices.
• Support monitoring and observability initiatives, including migration from Azure-native monitoring to Datadog.
• Work with CDN and edge-related services such as Akamai or similar platforms.
• Support integrations with event-streaming and messaging platforms such as Confluent / Kafka.
• Collaborate with security and engineering teams on code quality and security tooling such as SonarCloud.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment, networking, and application runtime issues.
• Participate in technical discussions, incident analysis, root cause investigation, and continuous improvement activities.
• Help maintain high standards for reliability, security, scalability, and operational excellence.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, Platform Engineering, SRE, or similar roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure.
• Practical experience with Azure Kubernetes Service.
• Experience with CI/CD pipeline design, implementation, and maintenance.
• Good knowledge of GitHub Actions or GitHub-based engineering workflows.
• Experience with Azure DevOps; migration experience from Azure DevOps to GitHub would be a strong advantage.
• Experience with infrastructure as code, especially Terraform.
• Experience with Bicep or ARM-based Azure infrastructure provisioning.
• Strong scripting skills with PowerShell and Bash.
• Practical experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, and YAML.
• Understanding of cloud networking, identity, secrets management, and secure deployment practices.
• Experience with monitoring, logging, alerting, and incident troubleshooting.
• Good understanding of production systems, reliability, performance, and operational risk.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in an international distributed team.
• Upper-Intermediate or higher English level.
