Job Description

The Senior Project Manager will lead the successful delivery of enterprise software implementation projects within the nuclear and energy sectors using our client's Dynamic Work Execution Platform. This role is central to driving execution excellence across programs, leading Project Managers, and maturing the Client Services PMO function.

As a Senior PM, you will own delivery outcomes from planning through closeout, managing scope, cost, schedule, and quality for high-visibility projects. You’ll collaborate directly with executive stakeholders, engineering, and client teams to ensure enterprise solutions are delivered on time, on budget, and in alignment with regulatory and enterprise standards.

This position is ideal for an experienced project leader from a major system integrator (SI) or the client services division of an enterprise software company - someone who has managed full lifecycle software implementations, mentored PMs, and led teams in complex enterprise environments.

Location & Project Scope

  • Work Environment: Remote role, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere within the United States.
  • Travel: Requires domestic travel within the US to support key client implementations and executive stakeholder engagements.
  • Project Compliance: Position supports high-visibility government and highly regulated enterprise sector contracts.

Job Responsibilities

As a Senior Project Manager, you will drive the delivery of enterprise software implementations for core nuclear and energy clients.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Lead the planning and execution of enterprise-scale software implementation and integration projects for regulated industry clients.
  • Define and manage project scope, budget, and schedules; proactively identify and mitigate risks to delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Serve as the primary interface for client executives, ensuring alignment between business objectives, technical delivery, and contract terms.
  • Lead cross-functional coordination with engineering, solution development, QA, and client operations teams.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality project documentation, including charters, schedules, risk registers, and performance dashboards.
  • Ensure compliance with industry protocols, security standards, and QA processes across all deliverables.
  • Provide coaching and mentorship to Project Managers, helping grow team maturity, capability, and adherence to established Execution Excellence and Quality frameworks.
  • Support continuous improvement by contributing to process optimization, resource forecasting, and PMO reporting systems.

Key skills required:

  • Proven success leading multi-million-dollar enterprise software programs through full lifecycle delivery.
  • Ability to lead and mentor PMs, establish governance frameworks, and mature PMO systems.
  • Deep familiarity with enterprise platforms (e.g., ERP, EAM, Workflow Automation, CRM, or Integration Suites).
  • Expertise in project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid) and experience tailoring governance to client context.
  • Experience in regulated or mission-critical sectors (nuclear, utilities, healthcare, or government) is strongly preferred.
  • 10+ years managing software implementation or upgrade projects.
  • 5+ years working for a major system integrator or enterprise software client services organization where you:
  • Worked directly with end customers to deliver enterprise software solutions.
  • Proven experience leading cross-functional teams with both direct and matrixed resources.
  • Proficiency with project management tools such as Jira, MS Project, Azure DevOps, or Confluence.
  • PMP, SAFe, or CSM certification required (multiple certifications strongly preferred).
