Front End Developer (Shopify Plus)

We're looking for a midweight Front End Developer to take ownership of the development of our Shopify Plus platform. You'll prioritise our UK and EU stores while supporting our other global storefronts, building fast, polished, conversion-focused experiences across every market, for both D2C customers and B2B partners.

Reporting directly to our Co-Founder, you'll work as day-to-day support for our E-commerce Executive, turning trading priorities, campaign requirements and CRO insights into clean, well-built features. From landing pages and product page improvements, checkout enhancements, and theme development, you'll be the person who makes our digital storefront better every week.

This role is fully remote. We care about output, communication and ownership, not where you log in from. It's perfect for a developer who cares about both code quality and commercial outcomes, and wants their work to visibly move the numbers for a brand on the rise.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

• Owning front-end development across our Shopify Plus stores, prioritising UK & EU and supporting global markets
• Working as direct development support for our E-commerce Executive on campaigns, promotions and onsite changes
• Building and maintaining themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS and JavaScript

• partner-facing functionality
• Creating landing pages, product page enhancements and merchandising features that improve conversion
• Implementing and supporting A/B tests, working with the team to ship winning variants
• Optimising site speed, Core Web Vitals and mobile performance across all stores
• Integrating and configuring Shopify apps, and building custom solutions where apps fall short
• Supporting localisation and new market launches across our international storefronts
• Ensuring accessibility, SEO best practices, and structured data are built into everything we ship
• Maintaining clean, documented, scalable code as the platform grows
• Staying on top of new Shopify features and front-end best practices, bringing relevant ideas back to the team

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• 3+ years' front-end development experience, with strong recent Shopify experience (Shopify Plus preferred)
• Proven experience on high-traffic D2C ecommerce sites, where performance and conversion directly drive revenue
• Excellent Liquid, HTML, CSS and JavaScript skills
• Experience with Shopify theme architecture, metafields and the Shopify ecosystem of apps and APIs
• A conversion mindset: you understand that the goal is performance, not just pixels
• Experience building for B2B or wholesale journeys a strong advantage
• Comfortable working with site speed tools, Google Analytics and testing platforms
• Strong attention to detail and pride in polished, brand-faithful execution
• Self-sufficient and well organised, able to manage your own workload remotely and communicate clearly across time zones
• Collaborative, proactive and comfortable in a fast-moving startup environment
• Experience with headless builds, React or third-party integrations is a bonus
• Interest in fitness, design or lifestyle brands is a bonus but not required
