About The Role

As an AI/ML Engineer at Laser Labs, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and deploying machine learning models that automate and optimize our clients’ workflows. Your role involves working with data pipelines, performing feature engineering, and training models using real-world business datasets. You will be responsible for implementing and refining algorithms, developing neural network architectures, and testing these models to ensure they meet client needs. Additionally, you will utilize tools such as n8n to build customized workflow automations, ensuring seamless integration of AI solutions into existing business processes. This is a contract-based, fully remote position that offers the flexibility to work from anywhere while contributing to innovative projects that have tangible business impacts.

Qualifications

• A strong foundation in Computer Science and algorithms, with the ability to design efficient and scalable solutions.
• An entrepreneurial spirit is essential, with previous start-up experience highly preferred.
• Proficiency in using n8n or the ability to quickly learn the platform to develop automation workflows.
• Hands-on experience with neural networks and pattern recognition techniques applied to real-world problems.
• Ability to utilize various large language models (LLMs) effectively to accomplish project goals.
• Proficiency in at least one modern programming language commonly used in ML, such as Python, along with familiarity with ML frameworks like PyTorch, TensorFlow, or Jupyter.

• Experience building end-to-end machine learning pipelines, including data preprocessing, feature engineering, model training, validation, and deployment.
• Comfort working with both structured and unstructured data, with familiarity in SQL and version control tools such as Git.
• A bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Excellent communication skills to clearly articulate complex technical ideas to non-technical stakeholders.
