Key Responsibilities:

Frontend Development (React + Tailwind CSS)

• Build responsive, reusable, and accessible UI components using React (hooks, context, state

management)

• Style applications efficiently using Tailwind CSS (utility-first approach)

• Integrate RESTful APIs and WebSocket endpoints into the React frontend

• Optimize frontend performance for speed, scalability, and user experience

Backend Development (FastAPI)

• Design, develop, and maintain REST APIs using FastAPI (Python)

• Implement WebSocket handlers for real-time bidirectional communication

• Write asynchronous endpoint functions for high performance

• Handle request validation, error handling, and basic authentication (JWT)

Database & Integration (MongoDB)

• Design flexible document schemas and interact with MongoDB

• Perform CRUD operations, basic aggregations, and indexing for performance

AI Engineering Knowledge (Plus)

• Assist in integrating AI functionalities into FastAPI backends

Collaboration & Communication

• Work closely with fellow engineers in a fully remote, agile environment

• Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and code reviews

• Document your code, API endpoints, and WebSocket event contracts clearly for team

reference

• Communicate technical decisions and trade-offs effectively to both technical and non-

technical team members

Must-Have Skills & Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science,

Engineering, or related field (or equivalent hands-on experience)

• Strong programming skills in Python (for FastAPI backend) and JavaScript/TypeScript (for

React frontend)

• React + Tailwind CSS – able to build responsive components from scratch

• FastAPI (Python) – experience building REST APIs and WebSocket servers

• REST APIs & WebSockets – solid understanding of both, with practical implementation

experience

• MongoDB – CRUD operations, basic aggregation, and schema design

• Familiarity with Git/GitHub and version control workflows

• Good communication skills and ability to work in a remote, fast-moving team environment

Good to Have (Plus):

• Basic knowledge of AI/LLM integration

• Experience with Docker or basic containerization

• Familiarity with authentication methods (JWT, OAuth)

• Exposure to deployment platforms (Azure, AWS etc.)
