About Sentara Health

Sentara Health is a not-for-profit integrated health system serving Virginia and northeastern North Carolina, with more than 30,000 team members, 12 hospitals, and a comprehensive network of outpatient, home health, and post acute services. For more than 130 years, Sentara has been committed to improving health every day — and we are looking for a strategic talent leader to help us attract the clinical workforce that makes that mission possible.

The Opportunity

As Director of Acute & Post Acute Recruitment, you will lead a dedicated team of recruiters and coordinators focused exclusively on staffing our acute care hospitals, rehabilitation centers, skilled nursing facilities, and post acute care settings. You will report to the Vice President of Talent Acquisition and serve as a key partner to nursing executives, regional presidents, and HR leadership across the system. You will also play a central role in a transformational moment for our TA function — including the launch of new AI-powered sourcing tools, redesigned workflows, and a strengthened employer brand.
