Your role purpose
The Global P&T Operations Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing all processes and policies related to personnel administration, employee relations, rewards, labor relations, international assignments, and the HR information system. The aim is to ensure compliance with all legal requirements and to provide excellent HR services to managers and employees
Your responsabilities
- Compensation and Benefits: Design and implement the rewards strategy with the support of an external consultancy. Develop and manage compensation and benefits programs that attract, motivate, and retain employees, while ensuring competitive and fair compensation structures
- Global Payroll and Benefits Administration: Collaborating with local HR teams and external service providers to oversee global payroll and benefits administration. Ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll, tax compliance, and administration of employee benefits programs across different countries
- HRIS/HRM Management: Implement and maintain the company’s HRIS/HRM system ensuring the accurate and efficient capture, storage, retrieval, and reporting of employee data and information
- HR Data and Analytics: Monitoring, consolidating, and reporting on key HR metrics, such as turnover rates, employee engagement scores, and diversity metrics
- Labor Law: Managing and overseeing labor relations across countries with the support of external local law firms. Developing and implementing labor relations strategies that align with the organization's business goals and objectives. Ensuring compliance with labor laws, regulations, and reporting requirements
- Expatriate and International Assignments: Design and manage the process of expatriate assignments and international transfers, including immigration, work permits, relocation support, and expatriate compensation packages. Collaborating with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure a smooth transition for employees working internationally
- Organizational Efficiency: Identify and implement strategies, processes, and initiatives that enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of an organization's operations
- HR Policies and Procedures: Developing, implementing, and maintaining HR policies, procedures, and practices that comply with employment laws and regulations. Ensuring consistency and fairness in HR practices and fostering a positive work culture
Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) in Law, Psychology, or any other social University Background
- Master’s in human resources desirable
- A minimum of at least 5-7 years experience in a similar position in a Multinational company preferably
- Experience in designing and implementing HR Policies and Processes
- Experience in HRIS/HRM systems implementation
- Experience in designing rewards strategy
- Previous experience working in fast-paced environments is not a pre-requisite but a major plus
Preferable skills and competencies
- Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and meet deadlines.
- Attention to Detail: Ensuring accuracy in all HR processes and documentation.
- Communication Skills: Effective verbal and written communication with employees at all levels in both English and Spanish,
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with HRIS, payroll systems, and other HR technologies.
- Problem-solving skills: Ability to address and resolve issues promptly and effectively.
- Knowledge of HR Laws and Regulations: Understanding of employment laws and compliance requirements
- Synthesis skills: able to analyze but also provide conclusions and synthesis.
- Knowledge and background in Quality Management Systems (e.g.: ISO 9001) applied to the job position’s tasks and responsibilities.
