AI Network Engineer
Location: Remote (UK or Europe)
Salary: Up to Β£130,000 Base Salary + 10β15% Bonus

We are partnered with a rapidly growing global AI infrastructure provider that is helping power the next generation of artificial intelligence platforms. Operating one of the world's largest GPU estates across multiple international data centres, this organisation sits at the forefront of AI, cloud infrastructure, and high-performance networking.
As part of continued growth, they are looking to hire an Intermediate Network Engineer to join their globally distributed engineering team. This is an opportunity to work within a highly technical environment supporting cutting-edge networking technologies that underpin large-scale AI and GPU deployments.
The Role
You will be responsible for supporting and maintaining large-scale data centre and backbone networking environments, working alongside a team of experienced network engineers across Europe, the Americas, and APAC.
The organisation places significant value on strong networking fundamentals and is looking for engineers who understand networking at a deep technical level and are eager to develop within the AI infrastructure space.
Key Responsibilities
β’ Design, deploy, and support large-scale network infrastructure
β’ Troubleshoot complex routing, switching, and data centre networking issues

β’ Support EVPN/VXLAN-based network architectures
β’ Contribute to network automation initiatives using modern tooling
β’ Work closely with global engineering teams to maintain network performance and reliability
β’ Participate in infrastructure improvement and optimisation projects
β’ Document network designs, standards, and operational procedures
Required Skills & Experience
β’ Strong networking fundamentals across routing and switching
β’ Experience supporting enterprise, service provider, cloud, or data centre networks
β’ Hands-on experience with EVPN and VXLAN technologies
β’ Network automation experience using Python, Ansible, or similar tools
β’ Strong Linux knowledge
β’ Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
β’ Ability to operate independently within a remote-first environment
Desirable Skills
