The Opportunity
We're hiring a Digital Marketing Assistant — Email to support the Product Marketing team at a fast-growing B2B SaaS platform that serves a large base of existing customers. In this detail-driven role, you'll build, monitor, and quality-check in-product ad campaigns and email campaigns that reach those customers directly — setting up ad copy, audience segments, and SQL-driven filters in a proprietary ad platform, while running email campaigns through tools like Outreach and tracking performance metrics for accuracy. You'll live in spreadsheets and dashboards too — cleaning and validating data across Excel, Google Sheets, and Tableau to ensure 100% accuracy in everything you ship — and you'll keep campaigns running smoothly by filing Jira tickets, triaging Slack feedback, and following clear SOPs every step of the way.
What Your Day-to-Day Will Look Like
- Ad Campaigns: Set up, monitor, and track high volumes of in-product ad campaigns — building ad copy, adding filters and audience segments, and inputting SQL code into the proprietary ad platform with a very high level of accuracy.
- Email Campaigns: Set up, monitor, and track email campaigns in proprietary client software and Outreach, watching performance metrics like conversion rates and audience volume and flagging any issues to the team.
- Data Entry & Tracking: Log email and ad campaign data in Google Sheets and Tableau to keep a clean record of performance.
- Excel & Pivot Tables: Clean, organize, and filter data using advanced features like Pivot Tables and XLookup, pulling from multiple sources to create consumable reports.
- Data Validation: Match data across spreadsheets — manually and automated — and cross-reference Tableau data to confirm accuracy.
- Ticketing & Triage: File and monitor Jira tickets for campaign issues using provided templates, and monitor relevant Slack channels to triage and direct feedback.
- Ad-hoc Support: Handle additional tasks such as manual data downloads from sources like Salesforce.
What You Bring
- Proven Accuracy: 3+ years in a role requiring high accuracy, attention to detail, quality-checking data and information, and collaborating with U.S. teams.
- Spreadsheet Expertise: 2+ years with Excel/Google Sheets, including Pivot Tables and organizing & cleaning data.
- Campaign Experience: Hands-on experience setting up paid social ad campaigns on any platform (LinkedIn, Meta, Snapchat, TikTok, etc.) and setting up and monitoring email campaigns in any tool (Outreach, Mailchimp, Klaviyo, ActiveCampaign, etc.).
- Tech Adaptability: Comfort learning new and proprietary in-house software, plus the drive to proactively ask questions and deepen your understanding of client needs.
- Detail Under Pressure: Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Tools & Availability: Familiarity with Slack, Gmail, and Salesforce, and the ability to work PST, 8 AM — 5 PM.
