On behalf of our client, a Vienna-based software company that is poised to revolutionize the energy landscape, we’re hiring a Staff Engineer to join their team. Their software is set to transform the way electrical devices respond to electricity markets, reducing consumer energy costs, and ultimately contributing to the fight against climate change. Their platform controls a fleet of heat pumps, electric vehicles (EVs), batteries, and inverters, making a tangible difference in the world.

What you’ll be working on? 🔥

• You’ll lead the optimization of device monitoring and steering services, ensuring scalability for millions of users while maintaining optimal performance levels.
• You’ll architect and expand an adaptable API framework to streamline interactions with software, consumer data, and external partners, enhancing efficiency and interoperability.
• You’ll develop agile tooling solutions to expedite the integration of new device brands into our software stack, accelerating product evolution and market competitiveness.
• You’ll lead a high-performing and motivated team of Software Engineers, set standards and enable them to achieve their full potential.

💰 Competitive salary: total gross compensation of 110.000 EUR on an annual basis (ideally, base salary of 90.000 EUR and 20.000 EUR in company shares)
