PHP Developer – Online Digital Media Domain – Utrecht Area – Hybrid Role

My client is building multiple online digital media products. They recently unified different products in one platform. After finishing this, there are new features on the roadmap that need to be implemented, like a global weather index. This will be 50% of your time. The other 50% will be implementations in their huge CMS-system whilst working closely with editors.

They are looking for a PHP engineer that is excited to deep-dive into this scope. You will be part of a team of 9, of whom 2 are focused on the backend. Since a major part of the client's landscape is in a modern .NET Core environment, they are looking for someone who is willing to either use or learn about this starting in 2025. Note: you will always remain working with PHP.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of professional experience with PHP.
• Experience with Drupal and Symfony is very nice to have.
• Strong communication skills in either Dutch or English.
• Willingness to use/learn .NET. You don't need experience with it.
• Genuinely interested in learning new technologies.
• Experience with Kubernetes is a pré, but not a must.
