Job Description
Brand & PR Manager
Daintie Delicates, PODBOSS & LVP Full-time | On-site | London
Permanent employed role only. No freelancers, contractors or agencies please.
We are looking for a Brand & PR Manager who can help get our brands seen, talked about, filmed, sampled, trusted and remembered.
About UsWe're an entrepreneurial Aussie family, originally from Melbourne, running quite a few businesses across the US, Australia and now the UK and Europe. We're not an agency, but you'll get to work across a genuinely diverse range of products and brands. You'll primarily be working with Dacie Clean, the detergent company of the family, run by Dakota (a small brunette in her late-twenties with a big passion for dancing and an even bigger one for solving laundry problems nobody else wants to talk about).
She opened the London office at Westbourne Studios in January 2026 to push some of our brands from the US into the UK & Europe. So we're still very much early days.. You'll be the second of our London creative crew, soon joined by our Ecommerce Manager, Brand Strategist & Copywriter, and Sales Manager.
We're hoping to find the right people to grow with and build a really fun, supportive and chilled culture.
This is a role in a startup, so it needs initiative, resourcefulness, curiosity and a healthy ability to just get things done, with plenty of variety and room to make an impact. We like people who think creatively, find resourceful solutions, and occasionally achieve surprisingly good results with little more than determination and a decent Wi-Fi connection.
We're after someone full time, but we offer up to 2 months a year remote work if you want to travel... and we'll even shout you the co-working space fees while you're off adventuring.
The RoleGet the brand seen, talked about, filmed, sampled, trusted and remembered.
The brands: Daintie Delicates, our Silver award winning period stain detergent (daintiedelicates.com), PODBOSS, wholesale vending detergent (thepodboss.com), and LVP, laundry vending machines and laundrette supplies (laundryvendingproducts.com). Daintie gets most of your time, PODBOSS regular attention, and LVP is occasional and trade-focused.
What you'll actually do:
- Make content. Film and edit short-form video on your phone: TikTok, Reels, LinkedIn. Low-fi, fast, native. Product demos, founder content, customer stories, trend formats. Shot in laundromats, hostels, hotels, trade shows... wherever the brands live.
- Get us talked about. Pitch journalists, podcasts and trade press. Find the story angles (founder stories, award wins, weird distribution channels) and chase them same-day, because PR moments don't wait.
- Get product into the right hands. Run sampling and gifting: lingerie stores, women's health communities and maternity spaces for Daintie; laundromats, hostels and hotels for PODBOSS and LVP. Turn one-off placements into relationships.
- Build the creator pipeline. Recruit and brief UGC creators, manage deliverables, run TikTok Shop affiliates, and spot when a comment or customer quote could become a brand moment.
- Show up. Trade shows, partner venues, events. Staff the stand, interview laundrette owners on camera, capture the chaos.

You'll work with the Founder, Brand Designer, Ecommerce Manager and Brand Strategist/Copywriter, plus videographers in the US and UK for bigger campaigns. Strong footage gets passed to the Ecommerce Manager for ads and listings... you own organic.
You don't need to have done all of this before. You need to be curious, socially confident, quick, and the kind of person who makes things happen without being handed them.
What We're Looking For- Be a chaser, a go-getter. You're running the show and we are following you
- Understands modern brand building beyond just social media, and is energised by people, places and real-world moments
- Confident filming, editing and posting short-form content (CapCut, Canva, and a scheduler like Later, Metricool or Buffer)
- Comfortable appearing on camera, and even more comfortable putting other people on it
- Experience managing organic brand channels and working with creators, influencers or UGC
- Strong, charismatic communication: captions, outreach messages, brand copy, and walking up to strangers at trade shows
- Can juggle multiple brands and projects without blurring their identities or needing constant supervision
- Highly responsive... PR, creator and social moments often need same-day action
- Spots opportunities without being handed them: a journalist request, a local event, a viral comment, a laundrette partnership
Nice to have: PR or media relations experience; TikTok Shop, affiliates or creator marketplaces; content for physical products; background in consumer goods, wellness, beauty, hospitality or trade; sampling, gifting or partnership programmes; coordinating videographers.
Who This Role Is Not ForThis isn't a role where you manage a social team from above. You'll have support: brand design, copywriting, scriptwriting, videography... but it's hands-on.

We need energy, appetite and comfort being visible. Someone who'll get out there, film things, talk to people, test ideas and capture real moments... like the Founder deciding she could probably rewire our broken-down claw machine five minutes before the trade show doors open, with absolutely no experience. Finding the funny in the raw.
You don't need to be an influencer or a professional presenter. Just socially confident, curious and willing to give things a go. Not someone who wants to stay quiet behind the scenes. (Honestly, once you see how big our fluffy detergent pod mascot is next to our 5'3" founder, the content writes itself.)
LocationFull-time, on-site in London (Westbourne Studios, W10), with some travel within the UK.
Up to 2 months a year remote work if you want to travel with co-working fees on us.
How to ApplyCV: If you would prefer to attach a portfolio rather than a CV, that is totally okay. Just make sure somewhere in there is the word detergent so we know you read this. Feel free to include examples of content, campaigns, partnerships, PR activity or brand-building work you've created or contributed to.
"Cover Letter": Please do not send a traditional corporate cover letter... have fun with it. Make us laugh!
We're much more interested in who you are, how you think, what gives you energy, and why this role genuinely interests you. Think FaceTime voice-note energy rather than a formal CV. Bonus points if you use your worst Hinge prompt (professionally). Send your intro as a one-page PDF, short presentation, Notion-style page, a literal video, or any format that feels natural. Don't overthink it.
We'd love to know things like:
- What you enjoy doing and are naturally good at
- What people usually rely on you for
- What kind of work makes you come alive
- Why this role caught your attention
- A bit of your personality... we want to get a feel for the person behind the CV
Bring your mates too! We're also hiring an Ecommerce Manager, Sales Manager and Brand Strategist/Copywriter. If you know someone great for one of those roles, mention it in a blue box at the top right-hand corner of your application, to recommend them or tell us you'd like to work alongside them.
Finally, include a short answer to one of the following (your choice):
