Systems Administrator (AWS, Azure & Infrastructure Administration)
The Systems Administrator will be responsible for supporting, maintaining, and enhancing enterprise infrastructure environments across on-premises and cloud platforms. The role involves administration of Windows and Linux servers, cloud environments (AWS, Azure, and GCP), network services, middleware platforms, and Azure DevOps environments. The candidate will work closely with developers, contractors, and IT teams to ensure infrastructure reliability, security, scalability, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Support, maintain, and expand enterprise infrastructure environments.
- Coordinate server administration and configuration activities across multiple teams and vendors.
- Monitor systems, servers, applications, and cloud services to ensure performance, security, and availability.
- Recommend infrastructure upgrades, modernization initiatives, and optimization strategies.
- Troubleshoot and resolve server, network, application, and cloud-related issues.
- Manage and administer AWS, Microsoft Azure, and other cloud platforms.
- Create and manage Azure DevOps projects, repositories, pipelines, and organizational settings.
- Configure and maintain Windows Server and Linux server environments.
- Support IIS web servers and enterprise application hosting environments.
- Implement and maintain network connectivity, firewalls, DNS, TCP/IP, and file-sharing services.
- Assist developers and IT staff with infrastructure, deployment, and application hosting requirements.
- Evaluate infrastructure performance and identify opportunities for cost, efficiency, and performance improvements.
- Support middleware technologies including API Management, automation tools, and batch processing services.
- Establish operational standards, policies, and best practices for infrastructure management.
