Role Overview:
The primary purpose of this role is to develop, maintain, and support the Hilltop product suite of Windows applications. The role has a strong technical support component and includes delivering reliable C++ development, contributing to new features and improvements, and investigating and resolving support and production issues in line with agreed priorities, coding standards, and target architecture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and enhance Windows-based C++ applications.
- Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve production and customer-reported issues.
- Support and maintain customer environments, ensuring stability, performance, and documentation.
- Deliver managed services and professional services work for Hilltop installations.
- Collaborate with developers, QA, product owners, and customers in an Agile environment.
- Produce maintainable, scalable, and well-documented code.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, releases, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:
- Solid experience in C++ development on Windows platforms.
- Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills.
- Experience supporting production or customer-facing systems.
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and technical teams.
- Experience with software maintenance, technical support, or managed services.
- Self-motivated and comfortable working in a fully remote environment.
On-Call Requirement
- Availability to participate in a rotating 24/7 on-call support roster.
- Must be responsive during assigned on-call periods.
- Must have access to a laptop, mobile phone, and reliable internet connection while on call.
