We're looking for an SEO Specialist to join our growing team and help us execute SEO across a growing roster of clients. You'll report to our Senior SEO Manager and own day-to-day execution across on-page, off-page, and technical SEO — turning strategy into rankings, traffic, and results.

This is a role for someone who genuinely understands how search works (not just checklist SEO), can work independently, and is excited about where SEO is heading in the age of AI search.

What You'll Do

Core Responsibilities

• Execute on-page SEO: keyword research, content optimization, metadata, internal linking, schema markup
• Execute technical SEO: site audits, Core Web Vitals, crawlability, indexation, structured data
• Implement SEO recommendations on WordPress sites (and others as needed)
• Monitor rankings, traffic, and performance across client accounts and report findings clearly
• Collaborate with our web developers, designers, and content team to ensure SEO is built into every deliverable
• Use AI tools to accelerate research, content optimization, and reporting workflows
• Stay current on algorithm updates, AI search (AEO/GEO), and emerging SEO best practices
• Contribute to how we approach AI search optimization (AEO/GEO) for clients
• Help refine our internal SEO playbooks and processes

Must-Have Qualifications

• Strong understanding of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO fundamentals
• Hands-on experience using SEO tools (Semrush, Google Search Console, GA4, Screaming Frog, or similar)
• Ability to read a site audit, prioritize issues, and execute fixes without hand-holding
• Strong written and verbal communication — clarity matters here
• Ability to work independently, manage your own workload, and hit deadlines
• A reliable, capable computer and internet setup
• Comfort using AI tools in your daily workflow (or strong interest in learning fast)

What Makes You Stand Out

• WordPress experience — comfort implementing SEO directly in WordPress is a strong plus
• Shopify SEO experience
• Local SEO expertise (Google Business Profile, local citations, multi-location strategies)
• Experience with AI search optimization (AEO/GEO) and how to optimize for LLM-driven discovery
• Content writing or editing skills that complement your SEO work
