Responsibilities
- Develop, execute, and maintain test plans and test cases to validate the functionality, performance, and security of networking systems and software.
- Identify, document, and track defects and inconsistencies, working closely with development teams to resolve issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements, design test strategies, and ensure system compatibility.
- Utilize automation tools and scripts to enhance efficiency and accuracy in network testing processes.
- Monitor and analyze test results to proactively identify areas of improvement, optimizing network performance.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to incorporate innovations into the testing process.
- Mentor and guide junior test engineers to foster growth and knowledge-sharing.
- Ensure all testing activities comply with the organization’s quality standards and maintain detailed documentation for compliance purposes.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in network/system testing or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, UDP, VLAN, VPN) and troubleshooting tools.
- Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks, scripting languages (e.g., Python, Java, Shell), and network simulation/emulation tools.
- Familiarity with network hardware (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls) and virtualization technologies.
- Solid understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in an agile environment.
- Exceptional problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Strong commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, and the ability to collaborate productively with a diverse team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent are a plus.
- Experience with cloud networking, SDN, or NFV technologies.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.\
