Conduct functional, stress, and performance tests of network infrastructure and protocols.
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, architects, and product managers, to meet project milestones.
Automate recurring testing processes to reduce manual efforts and improve process efficiency.
Evaluate and implement improvements to existing network testing methodologies.
Participate in team meetings, providing updates on testing progress, challenges, and solutions.
Document and analyze test data, preparing detailed reports for internal review and use.
Support the resolution of real-time network incidents through detailed testing and root cause analysis.

We are seeking a talented and motivated Network Test Engineer II to join our dynamic IT & Software Engineering team. This position is ideal for an individual with a passion for testing and optimizing complex network systems. Responsibilities

Qualifications


Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in network testing, network engineering, or a related role.
  • Strong understanding of networking protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, BGP, OSPF, VLAN, and VPN.
  • Hands-on experience with network testing tools (e.g., Wireshark, IxChariot, Scapy, or iPerf).
  • Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Perl, or Bash to develop testing scripts.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts clearly.

Preferred:

  • Certification such as CCNA, CCNP, or other relevant networking certifications.
  • Experience with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and Software-Defined Networking (SDN).
  • Familiarity with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) frameworks in the context of network automation.
  • Knowledge of security testing and vulnerabilities in network systems.

Day-to-Day
