Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cloud Architect to join our team, with a focus on FedRAMP and FIPS 140-2 compliance, DevOps, and development architecture within the AWS cloud environment. This role is crucial for designing and implementing secure, scalable cloud solutions that meet federal compliance requirements, including the rigorous standards of FedRAMP and FIPS 140-2 for cryptographic modules. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AWS services, an in-depth understanding of federal compliance standards, experience with DevOps practices, and a solid foundation in software development using Java, Golang, and Node.js.

Job Responsibilities

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in cloud architecture, with a focus on security, compliance, and cryptographic modules within AWS.
• Strong knowledge of FedRAMP standards, FIPS 140-2 compliance, and their documentation requirements.
• Proficient in AWS services, including their respective security tools and services.
• Proficient in creating and managing CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI.
• Solid understanding of containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform.
• Demonstrated proficiency in software development with Java, Golang, and Node.js.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to guide and mentor team members.

Desired Skills

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect certification.
• Experience with scripting and automation tools (Python, Bash).
• Knowledge of network architecture and security protocols.
• Experience implementing cryptographic modules in compliance with FIPS 140-2.
