Role Description
As a Junior Full Stack AI Engineer at Snowfire, you will contribute to building and maintaining end-to-end web applications that power our Adaptive AI Decision Intelligence platform. You will work on both front-end and back-end components, integrating AI-driven features into user-facing resources and internal tools for executive decision-makers. Day-to-day responsibilities include implementing new features, fixing bugs, writing clean and testable code, collaborating with designers and senior engineers, and participating in code reviews. You will support data and AI teams by integrating APIs, optimizing performance, and helping ensure reliability and security across the stack. This is a fully remote role. The ideal candidate is based in Denver, CO.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement sophisticated AI agents using Amazon Bedrock, including supervisor-collaborator patterns and custom action groups
- Build and deploy Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers on ECS Fargate for extensible AI tool integration
- Author AWS CDK stacks in Python to deploy production-grade infrastructure (Lambda, ECS, ALB, DynamoDB, Step Functions, S3, VPC)
- Develop responsive, data-rich frontend experiences using Next.js, React, TypeScript, and Ant Design
- Implement persistent agent memory systems with per-user isolation and graph-based knowledge representation
- Integrate MITRE ATT&CK, ATLAS, and D3FEND frameworks into AI agents for cybersecurity applications
- Build event-driven architectures with AWS Step Functions, Lambda, and real-time data processing
- Create GraphQL APIs with Apollo and RESTful Lambda functions with proper auth, validation, and error handling

Qualifications
- 3+ years of full-stack development experience with production systems
- 2+ years working extensively with AWS services and cloud architecture
- Strong Python skills: Writing clean, maintainable Python with type hints, docstrings, and proper error handling
- Proficient with React, Next.js, and modern frontend patterns
- Experience with AWS CDK, Terraform, or CloudFormation
- Hands-on experience with LLM APIs (Anthropic, AWS Bedrock, or similar)
- Understanding of AI agent patterns: Tool use, prompt engineering, multi-turn conversations
- Experience deploying and monitoring AI/ML applications at scale
- Deep AWS expertise: Lambda, ECS Fargate, VPC, ALB, S3, EFS, DynamoDB, Step Functions
- Git proficiency, testing experience (pytest, Jest, Playwright), and security mindset
