IAM Engineer – Identity Governance & Administration
- Location: Remote (LATAM)
- Contractor scheme/ 5-month contract
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced IAM Engineer with deep expertise in Identity Governance & Administration (IGA) to lead and execute greenfield implementations. The ideal candidate brings a strong track record of building scalable, enterprise-grade identity solutions from the ground up.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and implement Identity Governance & Administration (IGA) solutions in greenfield environments
- Develop and manage integrations using Terraform to automate provisioning and access management workflows
- Perform role mining and role modeling to define and optimize access structures across the organization
- Build and maintain a comprehensive access catalog aligned with business and compliance requirements
- Configure and manage identity lifecycle processes including joiner, mover, and leaver workflows
- Collaborate with security, IT, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into IGA configurations
- Develop governance policies, access review processes, and certification campaigns
- Troubleshoot and resolve identity-related issues across integrated systems and applications
- Document architecture decisions, configurations, and operational procedures

Requirements
- Minimum 5 completed greenfield IGA implementations in an enterprise environment
- Hands-on experience with IGA platforms — Lumos preferred; experience with other leading IGA tools also considered
- Proficiency with Terraform for building identity-related integrations and automations
- Demonstrated ability to perform role mining and role modeling at scale
- Experience designing and managing access catalogs and entitlement frameworks
- Strong understanding of identity lifecycle management, RBAC, and ABAC models
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as SOX, SOC 2, or ISO 27001 is a plus
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus
