A growing MSP who support a global investment management provider is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis.
This is a unique opportunity to become one of the first technology hires in Australia, working remotely as part of a global DevOps function supporting a prestigious hedge fund with operations across North America, Europe, the Middle East and Asia. You will work closely with engineering and infrastructure teams in the UK, Hong Kong and the Middle East, helping to support and enhance a modern cloud-native technology environment.
The DevOps team has been established for several years and continues to invest heavily in automation, cloud infrastructure and platform engineering. They are looking for a proactive engineer who enjoys taking ownership, working independently and building strong relationships with globally distributed teams.
To be successful in this role you will need:
- Tertiary qualifications and/or relevant industry certifications
- Demonstrated DevOps experience gained within complex enterprise environments
- Strong experience with Azure cloud services
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes (AKS), Docker and Terraform
- Strong CI/CD experience, including GitHub Actions and GitHub Enterprise
- Scripting experience using Python, Bash and/or PowerShell
- Experience with Helm, ArgoCD and Infrastructure as Code practices
- Strong Linux administration skills
- Experience with monitoring and observability platforms such as Datadog
- Understanding of security, compliance and DevSecOps best practices
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proven problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
- Ability to work autonomously and collaborate effectively across multiple time zones
