Job Description:

We are looking for a Senior Network Security Engineer to join our team at F80 Solutions. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, optimizing, and troubleshooting enterprise security solutions for our global client base.

This position is 100% remote (from Serbia), giving you the flexibility to work from anywhere while contributing to global projects.

You will work on complex network security environments, including firewalls, network access control, identity services, remote access solutions, and cloud-delivered security platforms. The role requires strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to lead security-related migrations and deployments with minimal supervision.

Qualifications:

To excel in this role, candidates should possess:

• Cisco CCNP certification preferred or equivalent knowledge
• Proficiency in English and Serbian (both written and verbal)
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Network Security Engineering roles
• Experience delivering projects from planning through implementation and troubleshooting

• Previous experience in a global corporation with strong change management process is advantageous

Mandatory Skills:

The candidate must have experience with the following technologies/products at an fully-proficient level. You should be capable of building new solutions, migrating from older models, and troubleshooting with minimal or no guidance.

• Routing/Switching protocols and technologies: EIGRP, BGP, Route Redistribution, PBR, NAT, DMVPN, GRE, IP SLA, HSRP, VRF, STP, VLAN, StackWise/vPC, LACP, SPAN, PortSecurity
• Security Policies, NAT Policies, IPS/IDS, Security Zones, VPN Technologies (s2s and RA)
• Cisco Firepower (FTD) + Cisco Firepower Management Center (FMC)
• Cisco ISE (RADIUS, TACACS+, 802.1x Wired & Wireless, Guest portals, Profiling/Posture)
• Security troubleshooting and root cause analysis
• SSE Solutions ZTNA / SWG / CASB - Netskope or Zscaler

Nice-to-Have Skills:

Proficiency in additional areas will be advantageous and may result in a higher salary. These skills are not mandatory but will enhance your value to the team:

• Automating networks using Python, REST API, Ansible
• Cisco Duo / Umbrella / SecureX
