Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and vigilant Cyber Security Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for safeguarding our digital assets, monitoring and analyzing potential threats, and implementing security protocols that align with organizational goals. This role is integral to the identification and mitigation of vulnerabilities across our systems, ensuring that sensitive data remains protected against internal and external threats. The Cyber Security Analyst will actively contribute to the development and enforcement of security best practices, drive incident response processes, and participate in security audits and compliance activities.

Key Responsibilities
- Monitor network traffic, security events, and system logs to detect and respond to security incidents in real-time
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and address security risks and weaknesses
- Implement and maintain firewalls, antivirus software, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and encryption protocols
- Investigate and respond to security breaches, incidents, and anomalies, documenting findings and remediation steps
- Perform root cause analysis of security breaches and recommend long-term corrective actions
- Maintain current knowledge of cybersecurity threats, trends, and technologies and proactively apply best practices
- Conduct risk assessments and create reports on findings, recommendations, and overall security posture
- Collaborate with IT and DevOps teams to enforce security measures during systems development and deployment
- Assist in the design and implementation of company-wide security policies, standards, and procedures
- Provide training and guidance to employees on cybersecurity awareness, safe computing practices, and compliance
- Participate in security audits, compliance reviews, and regulatory reporting as required
- Support the development and testing of disaster recovery and incident response plans

- Bachelor’s degree in information security, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field
- 2–4 years of experience in cybersecurity, information security, or related IT security roles
- Proficiency in using security information and event management (SIEM) tools, firewalls, IDS/IPS, antivirus solutions, and vulnerability scanners
- Strong knowledge of encryption technologies, endpoint protection, and access control models
- Familiarity with NIST, ISO 27001, and other industry security frameworks and compliance standards
- Demonstrated ability to analyze logs, trace incidents, and detect anomalies across a range of systems
- Strong problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for identifying potential threats and system weaknesses
- Excellent communication and documentation skills for reporting findings and interacting with cross-functional teams
- Industry-recognized certifications such as CISSP, CEH, CompTIA Security+, or equivalent are highly desirable
- Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment, managing multiple tasks and shifting priorities effectively
