Job Description
Role Description This full-time remote role combines responsibilities of Event Manager, Sponsorship Coordinator, and Promotions Executive for CIRGoM. The position involves planning, organizing, and executing virtual and in-person events, including conferences, seminars, and panels related to global governance. The role includes identifying and securing sponsorships, preparing sponsorship proposals, managing sponsor relationships, and ensuring sponsor benefits are delivered. The Event Manager / Sponsorship Coordinator / Promotions Executive will also coordinate event logistics, timelines, budgets, and vendor relationships, while collaborating with internal teams on promotional strategies and event communications. Day-to-day tasks include managing event calendars, tracking registrations, monitoring performance metrics, and providing post-event reports and recommendations.
Qualifications
- Strong event planning and event management skills, including experience coordinating conferences, seminars, or similar programs.
- Demonstrated experience in sponsorship development, sponsorship outreach, and maintaining sponsor and partner relationships.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders and represent the organization professionally.
- Proficiency with digital tools for remote collaboration, event platforms, CRM or contact databases, and basic office software.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities, with attention to detail and capacity to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Experience in marketing or promotions for events, including drafting promotional materials and coordinating outreach, is an asset.
- Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Communications, Marketing, International Relations, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Prior experience working in academic, nonprofit, or international organizations focused on governance or public policy is an advantage.
