◈  About the Role

As Marketing Manager at First500Days, you’ll own everything from our social presence to SEO, from campaign strategy to client-facing content. You’ll build and tell the story of a company that helps startups win and your work will directly shape how founders, investors, and the business community perceive us. You’ll also support content and marketing for our client pages, helping our startup clients build credibility and grow their own audiences.

◈  What You’ll Do

  • Own and execute content strategy for First500Days across LinkedIn, Instagram, and other key platforms — from ideation to publishing
  • Craft compelling, on-brand narratives that speak to founders, early-stage teams, and investors
  • Manage and create content for client pages — helping our startup clients build a credible, consistent digital presence
  • Plan, launch, and manage end-to-end marketing campaigns — organic, paid, and partnership-led
  • Own SEO strategy: keyword research, on-page optimisation, and content calendars aligned to search intent
  • Design scroll-stopping visuals and creatives using Canva for social posts, campaigns, thought leadership, and client assets
  • Manage and mentor the marketing team — set goals, review output, give sharp feedback, and build capability
  • Track performance across all channels and translate data into actionable insights and optimisations
  • Collaborate with our consultants and leadership to align marketing with business development and client goals
  • Stay ahead of trends, algorithm changes, and content formats so First500Days always feels current and credible

◈  What We’re Looking For

  • 3–6 years of experience in marketing, preferably in consulting, professional services, or a B2B environment
  • Proven track record of building and growing brand presence on LinkedIn and Instagram
  • Deep understanding of SEO — you know how to write for humans and rank for algorithms
  • Campaign management experience — paid and organic, with measurable results
  • Strong Canva skills; bonus for Figma, Adobe Suite, or any tool that produces polished output
  • Experience managing a marketing team with clarity, empathy, and high standards
  • Exceptional storytelling ability — you write with authority, personality, and purpose
  • Self-starter with high energy: you identify opportunities before being told, and you execute without hand-holding
  • Comfortable with analytics tools: Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, LinkedIn Analytics
  • Familiarity with the startup and business consulting ecosystem is a strong plus
