Compensation: $100–$115/hr DOE

Duration: Contract, 12+ Months, 40 hrs per week

Our client, a global leader at the intersection of health and science, is investing deeply in digital brand experiences that support some of the most important healthcare products in the world. They are seeking a Design Lead to help shape and evolve the digital ecosystem supporting their Cardiometabolic Health and Weight Loss portfolio.

This role blends strategic leadership, stakeholder influence, and hands-on design execution. You will work closely with cross-functional partners to define direction, guide creative quality, and bring exceptional digital experiences to life.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in ambiguity, communicates with confidence, and is equally comfortable presenting to leadership as they are working in Figma.

What You Will Do

Design Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement

• Lead conversations with business, marketing, product, and brand stakeholders to align on goals and priorities
• Help define and drive creative direction across a portfolio of digital brand experiences
• Facilitate discussions, presentations, and reviews that bring clarity and build alignment
• Advocate for design quality while balancing business needs, timelines, and organizational realities

Experience & Visual Design

• Lead the design of consumer-facing websites and digital experiences supporting major healthcare brands
• Create and refine high-quality visual and interaction design solutions across responsive web experiences
• Partner closely with designers to elevate craft, storytelling, and execution quality
• Translate brand strategy into compelling digital experiences that feel cohesive, accessible, and effective

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with product, content, marketing, engineering, and research partners
• Provide design guidance, feedback, and mentorship to other designers
• Help teams navigate ambiguity and move work forward with confidence
• Contribute to a culture of collaboration, critique, and continuous improvement

What You Bring

• 8+ years of experience in product, digital, brand, or experience design
• Experience leading complex initiatives within large, cross-functional organizations
• Exceptional visual design skills with a strong portfolio of digital experiences, websites, or consumer-facing products
• Strong presentation and communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at multiple levels
• Experience balancing strategic leadership with hands-on design execution
• Expert proficiency in Figma and modern design workflows
• Ability to navigate ambiguity, build alignment, and drive decisions forward
