About The Role

We're looking for a meticulous IT Systems Engineer, based in India, to take full ownership of our internal technology environment. This is a hands-on, Microsoft-led role for someone who approaches infrastructure logically and would rather take the time to do a job properly than reach for a shortcut. You'll run our systems end to end diagnosing, planning and delivering while keeping the Director informed at every step.

To Be Considered For This Role, Candidates Must

• Be based in India and able to work fully remotely.
• Have strong, hands-on experience across the Microsoft stack, on-premises and in the cloud: Microsoft 365, Intune, Autopilot, Active Directory / Entra ID, and email and user management.

• Have solid Windows Server administration experience.
• Be confident with PowerShell scripting and workflow automation in Power Automate.
• Be a logical, meticulous problem-solver who diagnoses properly and documents their work.
• Communicate clearly and report progress reliably while working remotely.
• Be at mid-to-senior level, with a proven track record.

Key Responsibilities

Manage our Microsoft environment, on-premises and in the cloud, Microsoft 365, Intune, Autopilot, Active Directory / Entra ID, and email and user management.

Administer Windows Server and keep core infrastructure healthy and secure.

Build automations using PowerShell and Power Automate.

Manage Linux / Ubuntu systems (experience welcome; otherwise you'll be supported to learn).

Own support tickets end to end: assess the issue, propose a clear plan, carry it out once approved, and report through to completion.

Take on infrastructure projects, working carefully and checking your work at every step.

How You'll Work

For each ticket or project the rhythm is simple: assess, propose a plan, get it signed off, then execute, keeping the Director updated throughout. You'll be given the access you need and trusted to keep us informed as you go. We value careful, complete fixes over speed at all costs.

Nice To Have (Not Essential)

Microsoft Azure, highly valued, including provisioning and managing virtual machines.

Linux / Ubuntu administration and virtualisation / VM setup.

ITIL and experience with ticketing / IT service management systems.

Familiarity with AWS and/or Google Workspace.
