Data Engineer Opportunity – Bergen, Norway


We’re currently partnering with a growing organisation based in Bergen that is looking to strengthen its data capabilities with the addition of a skilled Data Engineer.

This is an opportunity to join a forward-thinking team working on modern data platforms, where you’ll play a key role in designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines that support critical business decisions.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Develop and maintain robust ETL/ELT pipelines
  • Design and optimise data architectures for performance and scalability
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including analytics and product
  • Ensure data quality, integrity, and governance standards are upheld
  • Contribute to the ongoing evolution of the data platform and tooling


Desired Experience:


  • Strong proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language (e.g. Python, Scala)
  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure, or GCP)
  • Familiarity with modern data stack tools (e.g. Airflow, dbt, Spark, Kafka)
  • Understanding of data warehousing and data modelling concepts
  • Experience working in agile environments is beneficial
  • Fluent Norwegian and English language skills are essential
