Job Description
Product Manager /Owner - HeartStamp Greeting Card Invitation Gen AI Rag Platform
$42k – $50k • No equity
**Core App & Customer Experience · Product Ownership & Delivery · Part-Time / Contract · **Location: Remote (Global) · 42k-50k /yr usd, geo-adjusted · Reports to: CEO · This is a 30-35 hr/wk commitment.
About the Job
HeartStamp is building the world's first truly personalized tactile consumer good platform, built on generative AI with a RAG architecture. Our B2C platform turns a simple idea into a premium, print-ready design in seconds. Users can generate finished products in any art style, upload their own AI artwork, morph images into vintage aesthetics, and add premium embellishments.
We shipped our MVP this spring and we are now in an active growth sprint, running on weekly sprint cycles with a full backlog. We are a team of 29 spread across the globe, working like a beehive six days a week. This role anchors a small product trio. You own the core app and customer experience, working alongside a conversion rate optimization specialist who owns the funnel and site optimization, and a product manager who owns our platform infrastructure surface, including the master admin control panel, address book, OMS and routing API, user panel, and Bitly integration.
This is not a typical e-commerce PM role. You will be shaping a consumer experience at the intersection of generative AI and physical product fulfillment, a space with almost no established playbooks. We need a product owner who takes the wheel of a roadmap already in motion, keeps a small team shipping fast, and makes hard prioritization calls without losing the thread on what users actually want. Skill matters more than years on a resume. We want a force multiplier.
About the Role
You own the product roadmap and the rhythm of how we build. You will translate company strategy, stakeholder input, and audience feedback into a sequenced plan the whole team can rally behind, then keep that team moving at a high, sustainable velocity. You partner daily with the founder/CEO, the tech lead, our AI engineer, and our UX/brand designer, and you coordinate closely with your two fellow product leads so the app, conversion optimization, and platform infrastructure roadmaps stay in sync.
A core part of how we run product is AI-assisted. We operate a Claude-based system that ingests signal from email, Slack, Google Meet transcripts, and our project tools, and turns it into roadmap updates, groomed backlog, status reporting, and standup summaries. You will inherit this system, operate it, and extend it. This is not a nice-to-have. It is central to the role, and you should be someone who builds AI into how you work rather than treating it as an afterthought.
If you cannot say no with a clear rationale, keep a backlog healthy, and ship on a predictable cadence with a fast-moving team, this role likely is not for you.
Responsibilities
-Product Roadmap. Own the roadmap end to end. Convert strategy and feedback into a sequenced, defensible plan. Keep it current as priorities shift and communicate the why behind every change.
-Feature Prioritization and Backlog. Maintain a healthy, well-groomed backlog. Make clear calls using impact, effort, and strategic fit. Say no often, and explain the reasoning so the team trusts the decision.
-Delivery Velocity. Partner with the tech lead and engineers to keep the team shipping at a high, sustainable pace. Run sprint planning, refinement, and reviews. Surface and clear blockers before they slow anyone down.
-AI-Assisted Product Operations. Own and extend our Claude-based product operating system. Build and maintain Claude Skills that pull from email, Slack, Google Meet transcripts, and our tools, then convert that signal into roadmap updates, backlog grooming, reporting, and standup summaries. You will be expected to improve this system, not just run it.
-Customer Experience. Own the experience from first touch through repeat use. Stay close to real users and carry their voice into every prioritization decision.
-Discovery and Validation. Turn stakeholder input and behavioral data into testable product hypotheses. Validate before building at scale. Retire ideas that do not earn their place.

-Stakeholder Alignment. Keep the CEO, engineering, design, and your two fellow product leads aligned on what is shipping and why. Communicate decisions, tradeoffs, and progress in writing people will actually read.
-Quality and Launch. Define what "done" means for each release. Coordinate launches with marketing and customer support so nothing ships into a vacuum.
First 30 / 60 / 90 Days
By day 30. You have absorbed the existing backlog, roadmap, and Claude-based product operating system, and they are running under you. You have run several full sprint cycles, cut dead weight, and shipped multiple user-facing improvements. The team plans off your single source of truth and feels the pace pick up.
By day 60. Delivery velocity is measurably above the baseline you inherited and holding. The CEO has signed off on a re-sequenced roadmap, several validated bets are in flight, and the cadence is yours to set.
By day 90. Multiple shipped features have moved real metrics. Delivery is predictable, the team trusts the plan, and you are pushing the org faster than it moved before you arrived.
Requirements
-Minimum 5 years of product management with direct ownership of a consumer-facing software product, mobile or web app.
-Proven ownership of a product roadmap and a prioritization framework you can defend under pressure.
-Hands-on agile and scrum product ownership. Comfortable running planning, refinement, and reviews directly with engineers.
-Direct experience building with Claude, including authoring and maintaining Claude Skills, not just prompting. You can build automated workflows that ingest from email, Slack, meeting transcripts, and project tools to coordinate a roadmap, and you will be expected to operate and extend a system that does exactly this.
-Hands-on use of generative AI across the full product workflow, from discovery and backlog grooming through documentation, prioritization, and reporting.
-Track record of shipping software on a predictable cadence with a small, fast team.
-Strong product sense and customer empathy, backed by a real habit of talking to users.
-Comfort with ambiguity and an early-stage pace. Process exists here, but it is young, and you will harden what works and build what is missing.
-Remote, global. Open to candidates anywhere in the world, with consistent availability during EST business hours.
-Excellent written and verbal communication. Fluent English required.
Nice to Have
-Experience building Claude Skills, AI agents, or comparable workflow automation tooling.
-Generative AI product experience, especially user-facing AI flows.
-E-commerce, gifting, personalization, or print-on-demand background.
-CSPO, PSPO, or an equivalent product ownership credential.
-Experience coordinating across multiple product managers or parallel product workstreams.

-Fluency collaborating closely with design in Figma.
-Prior early-stage or zero-to-one product experience.
Success Metrics
-Delivery predictability. Planned versus shipped, sprint over sprint.
-Roadmap confidence. Stakeholders and engineers trust the plan and the reasoning behind it.
-Time to validated learning. How quickly an idea moves from hypothesis to a clear decision.
-Customer experience quality. Tracked through user feedback and retention signals.
-Feature adoption. Shipped work gets used and moves the metric it was built to move.
