Who you are
You’re a calm, hands-on IT and infrastructure pro who keeps everything behind the scenes running smoothly so the rest of the company can move fast. You care deeply about reliability, security, and making sure people can do their best work without friction, from day-one onboarding to day-to-day tools and access. You’re just as comfortable troubleshooting a tricky production issue as you are tightening up IAM, Azure costs, or SOC2 controls. Most importantly, you bring a practical, steady approach to complex systems and make “it just works” feel effortless for everyone else.
What you will do
- Management of internal email and collaboration tools
- Internal configuration of key company-wide applications (Hubspot, Connectwise, M365, etc.)
- Identity and access management
- Laptops and device management
- VPN, Wi-Fi, office networking
- Endpoint security
- SOC2 internal controls and compliance
- Infrastructure Management: VM deployment and restore procedures, Azure deployment and cost/resource optimization, server, network and security infrastructure
- Application security and vulnerability management
- Risk and security questionnaires for customers and prospects
- Internal and external DNS management
- SSL certificate management

What you need to do it
- 4 to 7 years experience in IT infrastructure, DevOps or Cloud Engineering
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft 365
- Basic Linux administration skills (Ubuntu preferred)
- Knowledge of networking concepts including BGP, OSPF, VLANs on Cisco
- Experience managing identity systems (Active Directory, IAM, SAML/OAuth2, LDAP)
- Strong knowledge of DNS architecture and management
- Experience administering Microsoft 365 (Entra ID, Defender, Intune)
- Familiarity with Git-based workflows (GitHub/GitLab)
- Experience with ticketing systems
- Experience with security tools such as Microsoft Defender and vulnerability scanning (e.g. Tenable/Nessus)
- Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and process ownership skills
- Understanding of IT service management principles (e.g., ITIL)
