Senior Wovens Designer - Soft Wovens & Printed Dresses Focus

We are seeking a Senior Wovens Designer for a senior-level individual contributor role with leadership responsibility. This position is ideal for a designer with substantial industry experience in soft wovens, a strong feminine design sensibility, and excellent sketching ability. The right candidate will play a key role in growing opportunity within printed dresses and soft woven categories while helping shape the overall creative direction of the collection.

This role will focus heavily on soft wovens, with an emphasis on prints developed within specific silhouettes. Experience in hard wovens is also a plus, though the core need is for someone who can bring strength, taste, and innovation to the softer side of the assortment. Candidates should have a refined eye aligned with a feminine, romantic aesthetic rather than an edgy or overly minimal point of view.

The Senior Wovens Designer will oversee two direct reports and partner closely with leadership to drive concepts from idea through execution. This is a hands-on design role requiring strong taste level, technical sketching ability, and comfort designing on iPad. Key Responsibilities

• Lead design for soft wovens with a focus on printed dresses and feminine woven categories
• Create seasonal concepts and designs that align with the overall brand aesthetic
• Develop prints within defined silhouettes and identify opportunities for category growth
• Contribute knowledge of hard wovens where applicable
• Manage and mentor two direct reports
• Produce clear, elevated digital sketches, including on iPad
• Collaborate cross-functionally to bring concepts from idea to final product

Qualifications

• Substantial experience in fashion design, with strong expertise in wovens
• Deep background in soft wovens; hard wovens experience is a plus
• Strong print sensibility and understanding of silhouette-driven design
• Refined aesthetic with a feminine, romantic point of view
• Excellent sketching and illustration skills
• Prior leadership or mentoring experience
• Ability to work onsite full-time
