About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Windows Administrator to support and remediate vulnerabilities across enterprise Windows environments. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Windows Server administration, VMware virtualization, Active Directory, Exchange, and infrastructure troubleshooting. This role involves handling escalated incidents, performing root cause analysis, maintaining critical systems, and ensuring maximum uptime within a financial services environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform vulnerability remediation and security compliance activities.

- Configure, administer, and support Windows Server 2008/2012/2016 environments.

- Troubleshoot and resolve Exchange 2016 and Outlook-related issues.

- Maintain physical and virtual server infrastructure with maximum uptime.

- Provide Level 3 support for Windows server-related incidents and escalations.

- Administer Active Directory, domain infrastructure, and network services.

- Implement security policies, antivirus protection, and server hardening practices.

- Participate in system builds, upgrades, migrations, and patch management activities.

- Create and maintain technical documentation, standards, and procedures.

- Manage VMware ESX environments, Virtual Center, VM templates, and virtualization tasks.

- Perform P2V and V2V migrations using VMware tools.

- Monitor and optimize CPU, memory, storage, and network utilization across virtual environments.

- Troubleshoot server hardware using HP iLO, HP SIM, Dell, and IBM management tools.

- Execute firmware upgrades and hardware maintenance activities.

- Conduct server health checks, performance tuning, and systematic troubleshooting.

- Deploy and support HP ProLiant Blade Servers and Dell PowerEdge Servers.

- Create and manage VMware virtual machines according to business requirements.

- Participate in on-call support rotations while maintaining SLA commitments.

- Analyze incidents and provide evidence/documentation to support project requirements.

- Manage daily Windows infrastructure incidents and service requests within SLA.

- Support assigned projects and provide escalation assistance to the Windows team.

- Work flexible shifts as required.

Qualifications

- Graduate/Postgraduate qualification preferred.

Experience

- 7–10 years of overall IT experience.

- 4–5 years of relevant Windows Administration experience.
