Job Description
We're looking for an experienced IAM Engineer III to join a collaborative Identity and Access Management team. In this role, you'll help develop and enhance IAM products, support role and lifecycle management, and solve complex access problems across cloud and on-premises environments. You'll work alongside talented peers, stay ahead of industry trends, and contribute directly to security initiatives that protect financial institutions and their customers.
This position is open to candidates in the Pacific, Mountain, or Central Time Zones. You must live within 70 miles of one of the following hub locations:
- Allen/Dallas-Fort Worth, TX
- Birmingham, AL
- Cedar Falls, IA
- Charlotte, NC
- Lenexa, KS / Kansas City, MO
- Louisville, KY
- San Diego, CA
- Southwest Missouri (Monett and Springfield)
What You'll Be Responsible For

- Planning, designing, developing, and implementing IAM products including Okta, ID Verification, and Just-in-Time (JIT) software
- Analyzing and implementing authorization methods such as RBAC, ABAC, PBAC, role management, lifecycle management, separation of duties (SOD), and access certifications
- Configuring, integrating, and tailoring IAM products to address business problems and client requirements
- Reviewing IAM technical white papers and providing guidance on future offerings
- Managing identity lifecycle events — access certifications, permission assignments, account deletions, and role changes
- Performing integrations with cloud and on-prem directories and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
- Aligning business needs with standards related to identity creation, deletion, vaulting, and password management
- Creating and updating metrics, automating data collection and aggregation
- Building automation using PowerShell, RPA, SQL, and tools like Power Automate
- Participating in client-facing information-gathering meetings to understand business goals and desired outcomes
Required Experience & Skills
- 4+ years of Okta Administration experience, including Okta Workflows
- 2–3+ years managing ID Verification software
- 2–3+ years working with Just-in-Time (JIT) software
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience with SIEM tools for troubleshooting IAM issues
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms: AWS, GCP, or Azure
- Scripting and automation experience (PowerShell, SQL, Power Automate, RPA)
- Familiarity with RBAC, ABAC, PBAC, SOD frameworks
- Experience working in financial services or highly regulated industries

Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field preferred
- CISSP, Google GCP, or CISA certification preferred
Pay & Benefits Summary
- $60–$65/hr W2
- Conversion target salary of $140,000 upon direct hire
- Fully remote position (within hub proximity requirements)
- 12-month contract to hire
